I use a HIPAA-compliant platform with end-to-end encryption called Jane. You’ll recieve an individualized link to meet via Jane for every appointment. 

For a 50-minute session, the rate is $250. Intensive therapy rates are listed on the intensives page. 

Like most specialty providers, I do not accept insurance, ensuring maximum privacy, confidentiality, and flexibility. While I do not accept insurance, I do work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. This service will be provided at no cost to you.

If you have out-of-network benefits, they typically will reimburse you for 60-80% of the cost of each session.

If you’d like, I will submit your claims to your insurance company on your behalf via Mentaya.

Your out-of-network benefits are usually pretty straightforward to use. To make things even simpler for you, I’ve partnered with a company, Mentaya, who will submit your claims to your insurance company at no cost to you.

Should you decide to submit on your own, most insurance companies have you upload your monthly superbill online (it can be sent to you on the 1st of each month if you’d like) and then they will mail you a check with your reimbursement.

It’s always a good idea to call the number on the back of your health insurance card listed under Member Services.

You can ask them the following questions:

Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage? Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?

What is my out-of-network deductible?

How much of my deductible has been met this year?

Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?

What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?

How much will I be reimbursed for a 50 minute psychotherapy session (CPT code: 90834)?

A Good Faith Estimate is an estimate of how much therapy services will cost. This provides an estimate of the total cost of services for the year based on the clients desired frequency of therapy services. This serves as an estimate and does not reflect a contract or a requirement to obtain services. 

I’ll ask you some questions to get a better idea of what’s been going on for you and we’ll get to know each other better. We’ll discuss your needs and goals and what you hope to accomplish in therapy. 

It depends on what your needs and goals are. I’ve worked with clients for a short time (8-10 sessions) or for longer periods of time (20+ sessions). 

Within the intensive therapy format, I’ve seen clients make significant progress within one or two sessions.

Before scheduling a therapy session, I offer a free 15 minute consultation call. This gives us the chance to get to know each other and ensure this will be a good fit.
