ANXIETY COUNSELING IN MIAMI & ACROSS FL

Exhale worry. Inhale peace.

Sure, you can “do it all”…. but do you need to?

It feels like you’re fighting just to make it through each day. (No wonder you’re exhausted!)

It’s anxiety again, getting in the way and taking control of your life.

You might find yourself agreeing with everything, not because you want to, but because you just don’t want to let anybody down or hurt someone’s feelings. You just wish you had the confidence to say exactly what you’re feeling or what you need help with. But instead, you continue to bury it down deep inside and deal with things on your own—like you always have.

Things like overanalyzing a text message or email are all too common as you read into some sort of hidden meaning in each word. It's exhausting, really, this endless dance of avoiding conflict. But it’s better than the alternative, disappointing or upsetting them, right? At least… that's what you keep telling yourself as you put on a smile and pretend everything's okay.

Your anxiety is lying to you.

But the truth is you’re drowning, and wondering if there’s something wrong with you. When we bury our feelings and struggles—especially as women—it only gets worse. Why wait?

MY APPROACH —

Anxiety is something everybody has, you’ve heard it before. While it’s totally normal to feel anxious from time to time, it can quickly feel so intense that it disrupts your entire life. You’re here because that’s happening to you and I’m here to help you change it.

I’m a big believer in helping the women I work with understand that anxiety isn’t always a bad thing.

It’s a sign from your body that something isn’t quite right and the sooner we understand what that “something” or “things” is, the sooner you can thrive, heal, and step into your authentic self. To better understand your anxiety, we’ll look at your underlying beliefs, childhood, relationships, and what’s going on in your life right now.

During this process, we’ll explore the root of your anxiety, help you learn different coping strategies, and teach you how to regulate your nervous system. I believe in approaching things from a modern and holistic point of view and I’m always open to exploring new ways for you to grow. This is a collaborative space so I welcome an open conversation and direction that works best for you and I’ll be there with my expertise to help you discover hope, healing, and happiness.

I’ll also help you realize and accept that you’re not a burden, even though you constantly feel like one. It’s okay to ask for help and I’m here to remind you that you have permission to take care of yourself before you take care of anybody or anything else. I know that so often you put yourself at the bottom of the list, but now is the time to put yourself as the top priority.
